These rules apply whenever MEON MAP navigation, fleet, dispatch, roadside or community features are used.
MEON MAP is an assistance tool. Drivers remain responsible for safe and lawful operation and must follow road signs, official restrictions, closures, law-enforcement directions and actual road conditions over any app instruction.
Vehicle profiles and third-party map data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Verify critical height, weight, axle, trailer, hazmat, bridge, tunnel, local-route, permit and clearance requirements before proceeding. A route shown by MEON MAP is not a guarantee that every road segment is legally or physically passable.
Do not type, configure settings, review long messages, upload files or use other distracting controls while driving. Use voice features where lawful, a passenger, or stop in a safe and legal location before interacting with the device.
User reports concerning police, hazards, accidents, closures, parking or weigh-station status are awareness signals only. They may be stale, inaccurate or unavailable and do not override official information.
Roadside Help is a coordination feature and is not an emergency-response service. For immediate danger, medical emergencies, fire or crime, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. Drivers and providers must decide independently whether stopping or assisting is safe and lawful.
Location, ETA, mileage, driving time, stopped time and fuel information may be estimates or delayed. Unless expressly certified in writing, MEON MAP records are not ELD/HOS, payroll, tax, accounting, insurance or regulatory records.
Use MEON MAP support/reporting tools to report suspected unsafe routing, wrong truck restrictions, bridge/tunnel issues, incorrect closures or other safety-critical map errors.
